Dickerson is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a native of Dallas, Texas.

Dickerson brings over 29 years experience to Metro Private Security, Inc. from the private security field as well as law enforcement. The company CEO holds the Master Peace Officer Certificate, certification as a Crime Prevention Inspector, and a Texas Peace Officer license from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.
